------------------- INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS -------------------

Create a database and user for ModernBill

--< Step 2 >-- 
Edit the locale config file with your database and URL settings

File: include/config/config.locale.php

--< Step 3 >-- 
Upload all files to your web server in BINARY format. All files in the DEMO release are encoded.

--< Step 4 >-- 
Please upload your KeyFile to the ModernBill root directory. Make sure the name of the file is called mbv4.demokey.php. (The KeyFile is attached to the registration email.)

--< Step 5 >-- 
Run the installer from the browser. (Point your browser to the /install_v4/ directory and follow the install instructions.)

--< Step 6 >-- 
Once you have successfully logged in, please head over to the Tools > System Config area and check all config options and make your changes accordingly. Please do not forget to view the Payments Config > Enable Storing of Encrypted Credit Card Numbers in DB


--------------------- TECHNICAL SUPPORT --------------------

There is no technical support available for the Demo License. 

Here are a few common issues you should check for:

1) PHP - Zend Optimizer Installed

2) PHP - Version 4.2.2 or LOWER

3) PHP - Register Globals ON

4) PHP - Safe Mode OFF 

5) cURL Enabled with SSL Support 

6) If you enable OpenSRS and you see errors like "unable to find PEAR.php", use the module-loader.php file to uninstall this module because PEAR is not installed or is not in your PHP include path.

7) If you see giberish displayed in the browser, you probably do not have Zend Optimizer installed. This is a free download from Zend.com and must be installed prior to running ModernBill.
